The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) has conducted a survey of more than 1,000 fitness professionals in the United States to help you improve your health and fitness programs in 2020. The electronic questionnaire has been distributed throughout the country and the results will help to predict what will happen globally in 2019 and 2020. This is the time of year when the fitness world prepares to tackle the latest trends swarming the industry.

The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) conducted a survey of more than 1,000 fitness professionals in the United States to determine the top fitness trends for the coming year.

The survey helps the industry make critical programming and business decisions to prepare for the future. As in the past, the results of this annual survey will help the health and fitness industry make informed decisions about the most important trends in fitness, health and wellness.

The first survey [1], carried out in 2006, introduced a systematic method for predicting health and fitness trends. The survey was conducted using the same methodology and electronic surveys were disseminated to determine the health and fitness trends for the following year. Investments can now be based on new trends identified by health and fitness experts. From the latest innovations marketed in late-night infomercials on television to the next hot celebrity touting a product.

This year’s survey presents 38 potential trends to choose from, including possible new trends in lifestyle and medicine, as well as a range of new health and fitness products and services.

In the new year, the ACSM published its Regional Compared Worldwide Survey of Fitness Trends. This article will look at specific data to provide an overview of trends in Australia’s health and fitness trends over the next five years.

This year, the ACSM also released its Regional Compared Worldwide Survey of Fitness Trends, a global survey that compares health and fitness trends worldwide over the next five years. Our partners in Europe, South America and China have collected data to replicate the results of the survey in their countries.

The top trends in South America and China are healthy eating, exercise, physical activity and healthy lifestyles. The most important projected trends for health and fitness in Australia over the next five years are health, fitness, health care, education and lifestyle changes, and health insurance.

The new survey predicts that in the new year there will be top fitness trends that can play an important role in reducing cancer risk and overall health. One of the top ten rankings is that your healthcare provider conducts an assessment of physical activity during your visit. The results of the survey of more than 1,000 health and fitness professionals in Australia were published in a new report, Health and Fitness Trends for Australia 2020, published today in Health & Fitness, the official journal of Australia’s National Institute of Health.3

The ACSM “Movement is Medicine” initiative has increased from sixth place this year to tenth place in 2019 and fifth place in 2018.

Personal training includes fitness tests and objectives, with trainers working with clients to prescribe – on – a training that is tailored to the individual’s needs and goals. The popularity of one-on-one training continues to grow, becoming the second most popular form of personal training in Australia after physical therapy. New on the list is free weights training, which starts in fourth place in 2020.
