The outage couldn’t have come at a worse time for Microsoft as it provided the perfect circumstances for PlayStation to lure in gamers from the rival platform when it announced more new games coming to its console on Friday morning.
While appearing on ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show,’ First Lady Jill Biden revealed that she indeed watched the steamy ‘Bridgerton’ scene where Daphne and the Duke consummated their marriage.
Lady Whistledown can put this down in her newsletter: First Lady Jill Biden watched the steamy scene between Daphne Bridgerton (played by Phoebe Dynevor) and the Duke of Hastings (played by Regé-Jean Page) on Bridgerton. Season one of the hit Netflix series, which revolves around Daphne and the Duke’s love story in 19th-century Britain, came up during a game on the Feb. 25 episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Host Kelly Clarkson read out a series of words and phrases and Jill had to say the first thing that came to mind.
When Kelly read out “Bridgerton,” though, Jill’s mind didn’t immediately travel to that NSFW scene between Daphne and Simon. “Um costumes, romance,” Joe Biden‘s wife immediately said. This drew a chuckle out of Kelly, who was thinking of a scene that was indeed romantic…but where costumes came off.
“We’re so different, my first would’ve been different…,” Kelly said, laughing. Jill quickly caught on and said while laughing, “Okay I know what episode you’re talking about!” Kelly then clarified that they were giggling over episode five ([SPOILER ALERT]: this is the episode where Daphne and Simon quickly tie the knot and later have sex for the very first time).
Jill and Kelly’s chat about Bridgerton‘s steamy scene came in good timing, because the show’s intimacy coordinator recently did a headline-making interview about how the risqué scenes in the show are actually choreographed! The coordinator, Lizzy Talbot, also revealed that the famous oral pleasure scene in the show was filmed on “day one” of shooting.
“The very first scene, day one, we were doing a scene of female sexual pleasure in a gentlemen’s club that didn’t allow women in until 1980. It was, like, ‘Oh, I see what you’re up to, Shondaland!’ It was very clear that from the outset this was going to be viewed from the female perspective,” Lizzy told The Sunday Times in an interview published on Feb. 26.
Bridgerton premiered on Christmas day in 2020, and the series — which is executive produced by Shonda Rhimes — was met with much fan fare. Fans are now anxiously awaiting the second season of the show, which Shonda tweeted in January will be “coming soon.”

Luann de Lesseps showed off her bikini body during her winter getaway to Tulum, Mexico! Check out the 55-year-old ‘Real Housewives of New York City’ star confidently working her two-pieces!
Luann de Lesseps looked as stunning as ever when she hit the beach in Tulum, Mexico, on February 24! The gorgeous Real Housewives of New York City star, 55, took a dip in the ocean while sporting an electric blue bikini and looked so confident in her swimwear style. Luann’s two-piece featured a string bikini top with a halter and plunging neckline and a pair of matching bottoms with a similarly fashioned rope detail.
Opting to go makeup free, Luann looked like she was having the time of her life. Her best accessory? The beaming smile she wore on her face as she enjoyed all of the luxuries of her beach vacation. The longtime RHONY star has been looking absolutely marvelous as of late, as the 13th season of the beloved Bravo reality TV series is slowly, but surely, coming together.
Luann switched things up with another string bikini on Feb. 25. Rocking a hot white two piece, the reality star was spotted going for a casual stroll on the sandy beach as well as stepping into the shallow water. She was later spotted walking out of the ocean with wet hair, smiling after a swim. She looked happy and relaxed as she soaked up the sunshine, throwing on a pair of shades as she enjoyed a quiet moment one of the resort’s cozy beach chairs.
HollywoodLife had the pleasure of chatting with Luann in July 2020, just before the final episodes of season 12 aired! The reality TV star dished about her “survival kit” for the ongoing COVID-19 quarantine, and even revealed how she goes about making wardrobe decisions for special occasions. “I feel like I try to be as close to myself as possible, [when choosing a look],” Luann shared with HL. “I, you know, I want to look natural and I don’t really want to be over the top. I just want to look great. I just want to look hot. That’s all.”
At the time of our chat with Luann, the star was also getting ready for a major reunion with her cast members. “The reunion is like your chance to clear the air, you know, things that you might not have said that you wish you said during the course of filming,” she candidly told HL. “You know, it’s that moment…I always go into the reunion with an open heart and with my truth, and I feel like it’s just hard to mess up the truth.”
Since the 12th season of RHONY ended and the drama was put behind her, Luann has seriously been living her best life. The starlet has shared intimate photos from her trip to Tulum, and given her longtime fans a glimpse into her luxurious getaway. With the star looking as confident as ever in her recent bikini snap, we cannot wait to see what the future holds for this RHONY star!
The Proud family is coming back with a new series titled The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, and we finally have the first look! On Thursday, Disney+ shared photos of the characters on the revival, as well as what they have been up to since the original series ended in 2005. While Penny Proud is now 14 years old and “loving it,” her mom Trudy Proud runs her own veterinary clinic and her father Oscar Proud is “more overbearing than ever.” Additionally, we also a glimpse of Keke Palmer’s character, Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, who is described as “the new kid on the block.”
While we haven’t gotten an official release date for the new series, we can already tell it’s going to be epic. When Kyla Pratt, aka the voice of Penny Proud, talked with POPSUGAR recently, she teased that revival is going to be “amazing” for old fans and new ones. “The people who loved watching the original will absolutely love watching the [revival],” she said. “And it’s going to introduce it to people who hadn’t seen the original! I love it because we’re talking about things that animated shows normally don’t talk about, and I think that’s something that we need.”
As we wait for an official release date, see more images of the characters as well as a breakdown of the new Proud family tree from the show’s executive producers ahead.
We’ve even got three Aussies Nicole Kidman, Cate Blanchett and Sia who were nominated and will no doubt fly the Aussie flag high with pride. Although singer/songwriter Sia, who scored a nomination for her controversial film Music in the Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy, will go up against Kidman’s Netflix musical The Prom.
Honorary Aussie Sacha Baron Cohen also scored multiple nominations for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture for his role in The Trial of the Chicago 7 as well as Best Actor in a Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy in Borat Subsequent Moviefilm, which also nabbed a Best Motion Picture — Musical or Comedy nomination.
On the international front, no surprises that Netflix comedy series Schitt’s Creek earned a slew of nominations across all the major categories for its final season.
But just who takes home the coveted trophies is anyone’s guess.
The ceremony airs on Monday, March 1 at 12pm AEDT on Foxtel’s FOX ARENA channel. Check back here with 9Honey Celebrity as we update the winners list below as each category is awarded on the day.

Scammers are successfully targeting more online shoppers during the pandemic, according to new data.
A boost in online shopping during the COVID-19 pandemic has led to a 500 per cent increase in losses to scammers, with younger consumers being duped out of the most money overall across all types of cons, new data shows.
Western Australia’s Consumer Protection says 257 online shoppers in the state reported losses of more than $650,000 last year compared with 129 victims losing more that $125,000 in 2019.
A further 241 consumers looking for second-hand goods lost more than $540,000 last year compared with 126 victims losing more than $190,000 in 2019.
Across all types of cons, there were more victims but less money lost last year, with 952 victims losing $11.8m.
In 2019, there were 705 victims who lost a total of $13.6m.
Consumer Protection said the largest losses occurred in the 25 to 34 years age group, while the highest number of reports came from people over the age of 65.
Consumer Protection commissioner Lanie Chopping described the losses as a blow to the local economy and devastating for victims.
“Money that could have flowed to legitimate local businesses is being siphoned by criminals who are very efficient and professional in their deception to dupe consumers,” she said in a statement on Friday.
“Posting fake ads, creating fake websites and sometimes threatening their victims by phone are just some of the many tactics used to steal money from people.”
Ms Chopping said it was vital the community was aware of the tactics used to stop criminals.
“With online shopping and internet activity generally increasing year by year, particularly during COVID-19 restrictions, it is even more important that consumers are vigilant and do some checks to ensure the people or organisations they are dealing with online are legitimate,” she said.
HOW TO AVOID BECOMING A SCAM VICTIM:
Do not let anyone pressure you into making urgent decisions;
Get a second opinion from a reliable source if someone requests money;
Do not respond to emails, text messages and phone calls from strangers offering investment advice;
Know who you are dealing with on dating sites and never send money to someone you have not met;
Never allow anyone to remotely log into your computer;
Remember government agencies and businesses will never ask you to make a payment using iTunes, Google Play, gift cards or Bitcoin.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, was spotted inside a Los Angeles dance studio wearing ripped jeans with a punk rock flair.
Has Shiloh Jolie-Pitt taken up a new hobby? Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s 14-year-old daughter was spotted at a dance studio in Pasadena, CA on Feb. 23! It’s unclear if she was leaving a practice or just visiting, but the famous teen looked stylish per usual as she was pictured by the studio’s doors in ripped black jeans that matched her hoodie and slip-on shoes (also in black).
Shiloh also sported a ponytail at the dance studio, nearly three weeks after debuting a topknot hairstyle while stepping out with her sister Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 16, and their mom Angelina on Feb. 6. For the family bonding time, Shiloh appeared to be rocking the same exact ripped jeans you see above with a similar black hoodie (the jacket from her earlier outing, however, read “Cirque du Soleil”).
Shiloh has been rocking longer hair as of late, which is a change from her usually short hair. The fashionista revealed her grown-out ‘do in the March 2021 issue of British Vogue, which featured a spread of Shiloh with her siblings Zahara, Vivienne, 12, Knox, 12, and their mom watching CBS News’ coverage of election night in Nov. 2020.
For Angelina, it’s important that her children are not only in-tune with current events in the world, but to be active participants in it as well. “I know this may sound strange, but don’t make it a duty for them to do good or have to give back. If we can help children feel that it’s not about duty or service or charity, but the joy of an interconnected life with people you respect, then it feels very different,” the Maleficent star told British Vogue.
Angelina looked stunning for the cover story as well, wearing a chic camel coat with a dressy tank top and pencil skirt in similar beige colors. As you can see, Angelina passed on her impeccable sense of style to Shiloh!
Columbus Short, who choreographed Britney Spears’ 2004 tour, wrote about allegedly entering a ‘dangerous sexual alliance’ with the pop star in his autobiography.
Columbus Short — who worked as a backup dancer, choreographer and producer with Britney Spears — claimed that he once got “intimate” with the pop princess in 2003. The 38-year-old Scandal star made the claim in his 2020 autobiography Short Stories, alleging that a “wild party” led up to the hookup. “[Britney] sent us a jet, and just like that, we were in New York having a wild party for my 21st birthday,” Columbus wrote to begin his hookup story.
Columbus recalled that the party crowd was “going crazy” at “Keith Richards‘ apartment uptown.” He further wrote, “[Britney] was on me like white on rice, and would not leave me alone the entire night. Britney had her eyes on the prize and wasn’t about to stop until she got what she wanted.”
“I really tried my best, but this girl put on the full-court press,” the Stomp The Yard actor continued in his autobiography, adding, “We ended up being intimate that one time. I never slept with her again after that, though. This was a dangerous sexual alliance for every reason under sun, and I think that the worst part of it was that I was making the rumors an actual reality.” Britney, however, has not confirmed Columbus’s claims about their alleged hookup.
At the time, Columbus and Britney were traveling to film the 2003 music video for “Me Against the Music,” according to Columbus. He also claimed that Britney’s manager “was growing more upset with the continued press,” and the brief flirtation ended soon after a game of truth or dare in which Britney allegedly said she’d marry Columbus. Meanwhile, Columbus instead chose the woman he was dating at the time as his hypothetical bride.
“I was fired not too long after that, and Britney changed her number so I couldn’t contact her,” Columbus claimed, and offered advice for his readers: “Don’t s–t where you eat, even if you really have to go.” Regardless, Columbus only remembered Britney with fondness and revealed his opinion on the 39-year-old singer’s controversial conservatorship.
“After that I felt like maybe [Britney] was using me to piss them off for some reason. I think she is a really sweet person that was tormented in a position on a high level that I can’t imagine. I liken it to Princess Diana. She was the pop princess,” Columbus wrote. “Britney couldn’t go nowhere — her world [was] completely controlled in this bubble. There would be times that she would act out, and I don’t blame her. She was trying to find her way. I love Britney to this day…I feel bad for her. I wish the world knew the Britney I knew.”
The professional dancer and choreographer released his autobiography in Sept. 2020, amid Britney’s legal fight to kick her dad, Jamie Spears, off her conservatorship. Except for a break he took for medical reasons in Sept. 2019, Jamie has been his daughter’s conservator since 2008. This means that Jamie has long held control over his daughter’s finances and major life decisions.
This wasn’t Columbus’s first time detailing his alleged fling with Britney. In 2004, Columbus claimed that he and the “Toxic” songstress slept together — just not sexually. “It’s true I slept with Britney, [but] we never had sex because another person was in the room at the time,” he told Starat the time. “We shared a bed and were really close, kissing and hugging. The chemistry was magical…our feelings were so strong.”
